They have not spoken to us directly since the investigation was announced. They made the decision to take away what for my daughter was life saving care without ever hearing from us or taking into account the harm of that decision. It’s been devastating. Thank you for talking about it.

To be really clear, Sussex ICB threatened, in writing, to close a Brighton GP practice serving 25,000 patients, purely to bully them into passing over child records. The GP did not want to pass on these records, because they understood the acute risk (& reality) of harm to trans adolescents.
Sophie's article is back up with a statement from the ICB. They are lying. They threatened Well BN with closure if they weren't given access to our childs records. Well BN held off for months, trying to stop them.
"Laura fears all will be lost if ICB Sussex forces her child off the medication.
If ICB Sussex get their own way in a matter of weeks and they force detransition, Olive may well take her life."

My son is on blockers legally from before the ban and we did everything they told us to do and now we are being threatened with social services if we don't allow them to "safely withdraw" medication. They admit that the impact will be "stark" for our kids but they are going to do it anyway.
I keep seeing people say that although the Green Party are rising rapidly, they won't win the next election. This is the thinking that has kept us stuck in a 2 party system. Kept us voting for the least worst option. We need to change our thinking first if we want to change our politics....

My child was a patient there also and the ICB have put us through hell in the last few months. They released a public statement at the exact moment they knew we were being told about the investigation, stating that our children would be having their medication "safely withdrawn"....

We are leaving the country in February because we can't cope with how unsafe this country has become for my trans son, I had no hope that it would get better anytime soon. But I have to say watching @zackpolanski.bsky.social these last few weeks is giving me a tiny bit of hope...

I wish the world could see how much trans kids can thrive with the right support. My son has had some tough times lately, but he bounces back. I genuinely believe it's because he is getting the help he needs. I know he is one of the lucky ones, I talk to parents who have been unable....

This made me mad this morning. Have to fill out an online form to get my son a GP appointment to be met with this. Apparently its crucial to know in order for them to help with his swollen knees. Won't let me bypass it either.

My confident, happy trans child couldn't face walking in the parade at Pride yesterday. My son, who happily walked last year waving his trans flag and blowing on his whistle. He told me he didn't feel safe. I'm so unbelievably angry.

I have a question for my trans friends if you don't mind helping. How do I guide my 12 year-old trans son through dating? I have always said that it is entirely up to him whether he tells people or not. He is unsure about it all, as normal for his age, I want to help him, but no clue how?
