When the "expert" on open source software governance tramples on all the literal rules memorialized in your project charter ... That's Machiavellian, baby!
(But, seriously, wtf?) Perhaps merely a complete lack of self-awareness.

It’s a little known fact that @amazon web services originated with Amazon’s management of French rail engineers in the 19th century.

Thanks to @unitedhealtcare.bsky.social Americans now spend more money on health care than on food or utilities. We don’t need the middle man. Let’s get rid of these companies that make money off denying us health care and god to single payer!!

Today’s the day for my periodic observation that “software” is a pre-requisite for “open source software” … so the open source software project should probably focus to some extent on software. I wish I was kidding.

The POTUS may deploy the National Guard NOT whenever the president “deems it’s appropriate,” but rather to “repel” an “invasion,” “suppress” a “rebellion,” or execute laws that he is unable to “with the regular forces”— a Trump-nominated Federal Judge ruled NONE of these LEGAL CRITERIA are MET

Fuck this shit.
The I.R.S. said on Monday that churches and other houses of worship can endorse political candidates to their congregations, carving out an exemption in a decades-old ban on political activity by tax-exempt nonprofits.

Weird how all the corrupt politicians in New York don’t want Mamdani to win
Former Gov. David Paterson called on independent candidates in the race for mayor to form a strategic alliance to defeat Zohran Mamdani in the November general election.

Personally speaking. I think we should disband an agency that thinks it's acceptable to just rock up to a random park carrying m4s while wearing masks and full kit.
Frankly this feels like a show of force in many ways. CBP has their own press guys here, lots of their own folks taking photos of bystanders

Holy shit, a real masks-off moment. Trump's IRS says churches can continue to claim tax benefits as a nonprofit even while explicitly endorsing candidates.

A lot of this country’s problems boil down to straight white men who see themselves as some sort of default “normal” but any variation on that as “an identity” that is “political”

Depressingly true. Palantir and its CEO are the inspiration for the CEO character in “Don’t Look Up”.
The current administration is undoing the civil service and reverting to political cronyism all the way down.

Powerful politically-aligned groups are now capitalizing on this, such as Palantir creating teams specifically to work inside the federal government and work the will of big tech.
