Going to try and be more accountable by weekly posting here. Mondays are my personal scrum days, and really how much worse can one more line item be (😅)

an old manager i had once reminded me to not spin my tires, but i feel that even if i have to bash my head against a wall 100 times, its all worth it if there's a breakthrough

Hey this is a reminder to cleanup your project imports and fix that one thing that you said you'd do (which you didn't cause you know it's gonna take two seconds).
It won't get done unless you get it done!

Every time I get motivated enough to post something, I find flaw after flaw after flaw, and I hold back on sharing what I've done. I feel closer with every commit, every patch, and yet my hesitance holds me back

This week I am working on a cleaned up pause menu and putting together a reveal. I have no idea how to properly announce a project and since you can only announce something once, I'm a bit flustered.

One day at a time I suppose 😅

The game has been coming along, and yet I struggle to post anything about it. I feel like its hard to share work when its not done, you know?
Unrelated: this week I'll be working on some cleanup for a very early version of the game,with a very, very special announcement to (hopefully) come soon.

To kick off the weekly posts, Alan Parsons Project's "I Robot" was the album I was listening to when I decided to try my hand at making a game.
It's been taking a long time, but I've definitely been able to look back and really see change.

Mocap recording session cancelled due to bad weather (road conditions are ass). I wouldn’t be mad but it’s the 3rd time in a row it’s been cancelled.
If anyone wants a snowstorm on a specific day let me know and I’ll book another session for it

Participated in a game jam and almost tanked our project in the final hour. While cleaning up, an altered sprite made its way into the final submission. With less than 4 min to go, we managed to
1.Find the mistake
2.Repair it
3.Re-export from the engine
4.Re-package the export for itch

I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain
