an old manager i had once reminded me to not spin my tires, but i feel that even if i have to bash my head against a wall 100 times, its all worth it if there's a breakthrough

Hey this is a reminder to cleanup your project imports and fix that one thing that you said you'd do (which you didn't cause you know it's gonna take two seconds).
It won't get done unless you get it done!

Trying to get some official business stuff out of the way and im gassed.

Every time I get motivated enough to post something, I find flaw after flaw after flaw, and I hold back on sharing what I've done. I feel closer with every commit, every patch, and yet my hesitance holds me back

This week I am working on a cleaned up pause menu and putting together a reveal. I have no idea how to properly announce a project and since you can only announce something once, I'm a bit flustered.

One day at a time I suppose 😅

The game has been coming along, and yet I struggle to post anything about it. I feel like its hard to share work when its not done, you know?
Unrelated: this week I'll be working on some cleanup for a very early version of the game,with a very, very special announcement to (hopefully) come soon.

To kick off the weekly posts, Alan Parsons Project's "I Robot" was the album I was listening to when I decided to try my hand at making a game.
It's been taking a long time, but I've definitely been able to look back and really see change.

I submitted with seconds remaining. Seeing the jam close before the upload finished was heartbreaking, especially having dedicated so much time to the project.
To great surprise, the submission went through and the game was finally done. I haven't felt like this since my uni days.Time to chill

Side Note: steam compresses screenshots by default. In steam settings -> in game -> screenshots , you can toggle external screenshot copies that are uncompressed!

Been playing a lot of Stalker 2, larping as a zone photographer. The switch to UE5 was a genius move for both visuals and stability!
