Yeah sure the SPC has a bunch of experts with decades of experience, but they haven't seen the sounding I just pulled off the HRRR by clicking in the center of the bright purple of the sigtor parameter so I'm pretty sure my understanding of the situation is well beyond theirs.

About 1.5"-2.5" of snow fall since 9:50 AM, Durham NH. Approximately measured from sidewalks that were clear this morning which are now covered in snow, which I dipped my finger in to get an approximate measurement #nhwx

Just picked up some Oreos from the store, and I noticed that they accidentally misspelled "stuff" on the front of the package. Can't believe they didn't catch this error before selling it in stores. What an absolute joke.

Question for meteorologists: what textbooks would you recommend for a hobbyist who wants to have some deeper understanding of meteorology? I'm interested in severe weather, tropical weather, and winter weather / Nor'Easters.

I love math and don't mind getting deep in the weeds.
