Watching these little pockets of goodness and resistance pop up all over the state (and really, the country) has been a small, flickering light in this toilet dumpster of a situation.
This is an Underground Railroad style operation. This is what I mean that we should study UR history, tactics, and strategy.

The new Deafheaven album is pretty sick. Yes, the screaming is back, and it helps, but the dream pop/shoegaze influences have also been amped up to infinity. It's noisy, but tuneful. Gonna come back to this one a lot.
