Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Yes, let’s do! The EPA is a pro-worker agency.

The EPA regulates the WPS, the worker protection standard which sets specific protections for farmworkers against pesticide exposure like establishing a restricted entry interval, labeling, and required yearly training for all farmworkers.
This Day in Labor History: November 8, 1970. Congress approved the Reorganization Acts Amendment that laid the groundwork for the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency. Let's talk about how the EPA is a pro-worker agency, counter to those who want to divide labor and environmentalists!

This Day in Labor History: October 30, 1837. Nicholas Farwell, a train engineer toiling for the Boston and Worcester Rail Road Corporation fell off a train while at work and had his hand crushed by the train. Farwell sued the company for damages. Judge said, nope! Nothing for the injured workers!

When President Trump illegally fired Gwynne Wilcox, he effectively shut down the NLRB and took away the board’s independence.

We’re grateful to members of congress who, after union members made their voices heard, urged the president to reinstate Wilcox ⬇️

This is a reminder that iron metallurgy was invented by Black populations in sub-Saharan Africa.

It wasn’t introduced by white people from Atlantis.

It didn’t come from aliens.
