This case is so incredibly fucked up, it isolated the teenager from his family and actively tried to prevent him from confiding in anyone about his suicidal thoughts on multiple occasions.
There's a fairly decent summary on Wikipedia, but this is so utterly tragic.

It would be such a good support network if it wasn't an ableist hellhole that replaced the word abuser with "narcissist", slandered abuse survivors with coping mechanisms that they find icky, hated on Cluster Bs, and gave abusers a ready made excuse for their actions. It's really sad
