Character does still exist...

These seem to show up at the right times.... I've listened to One Last Time a couple times in the last few years (shed a tear or two missing days of Hope)

I grew up believing that we had learned the lessons of the German poem and Martin Luther King Jr's speeches. We would all speak out if we saw democracy threatened and the rule of law under attack.

I will always speak out against wrong. I will always stand up for democracy. I will not back down.

Tracy covering Bob always makes me smile. Get to see him for the 2nd time this summer, now if only she'll tour again so I can see her...

Reading that Glen thinks of Ireland when he sings this has made me listen to it with a different perspective... and thinking about it in the context of my own home, it's a rallying cry we need.
