I am honestly in awe of how well the HSGAC and Senate Budget Democratic staff did. They won on almost everything. Legendary stuff here.

Tho it does help that the GOP staffers in the room were…. not good at their jobs.
Wow. Fourth batch of Byrd droppings is out - Dem staff absolutely dominated the HSGAC fight

We won on reorg & bonuses for cost cutters ofc, but also on at-will, filing fees, and USPS green vehicles & infrastructure sales

Seriously, major praise to the D staff

Iran is filled with unspeakable beauty. I barely got to scratch the surface even in the month I was there. Here: a stained glass window reflected in a pool at Bagh-e Dolat Abad, a traditional garden in Yazd.

Spring arrives in the northern hemisphere early tomorrow morning! Do you know why our ancestors created the word “equinox” to mark this day (& the first day of fall)? Curious to see what one year of sunlight falling on our planet looks like from space?! @ourislanduniverse.bsky.social has got you! 🔭
#Spring arrives for the northern hemisphere tomorrow at 5:01a EDT (2:01a PDT) & with it the return of warmth, the return of longer days, and shorter nights! Our ancestors coined a new word for days like tomorrow: #equinox. What were they trying to tell us?! 🔭🧪

See that dark spot? That’s not a sunspot. It's a planet!!

In 2012, Venus perfectly aligned with the Sun, creating a rare "Venusian annular eclipse" with an enormous ring of fire. This won't happen again until 2117.

This #Hubble telescope image shows the Trumpler 14 star cluster some 8000 lightyears away. The stars are extremely young, only half a million years old. Many will end their lives in a few million years in great explosions.
