Hello, I’m Henry, Allen, or Asa. I’m a cosplayer and video editor. I mainly cosplay relating to my special interest of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Lovecraft stuff (Re-Animator too).
Also I make Fanmade vocaloid PVs, mainly songs by Mothy/Akuno_P because I love Evillious.

The Banana Fish AI dub is trash, but it’s also such an insult to the source material, which is an INCREDIBLE piece of art. Everyone who worked hard on the manga+anime deserves better. EN VAs who would’ve been overjoyed to work on a dub deserve better. And *YOU* deserve better!

Lovecraft's prejudices were not static throughout his life. We basically have evidence of his prejudices from ages 13-47, and if you look at the range of views he expressed during that period, some views did change in response to his life and world events, and some did not.
I feel like the general consensus has shifted toward the idea that Lovecraft's racism got "better" as he neared the end of his life, but I've never heard any specifics. Is that true? If so, how, and how do we know?

Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day!

Indigenous folks haven't always been depicted well in Mythos fiction, but some works of cosmic horror combine accuracy and empathy, and if you're interested in such I recommend BLACK STARS ABOVE by Lonnie Nadler & Jenna Cha.
