The UK used to pride itself on not having a far-right party.

Now it has two parties polling together at 45+% calling for forced deportations of 100.000s of people.

Something is breaking in our democratic societies.
Kuenssberg: “Where would the 150,000 people you plan to deport each year actually go?”
Badenoch: “I’m tired of irrelevant questions.”
The Tories have an idiot in charge, one who doesn’t know NI voted Remain or why deportation deals even matter. #ukpolitics

I feel like the reason why far right propaganda is so effective and pervasive is because instead of offering solutions they offer excuses.

It always boils down to "All of your problems are because of someone else" which is like oldest and most basic grift around.

One of the major things I’ve learned this summer is that there is a TON of underlying frustration/anger within the fanbase. It seems ready to turn on things at the first sign of adversity.

The kumbaya days of 22/23 are long gone.

The FA deserve a huge amount of credit for their investment (both financial and in terms of resource) in women's football. Ultimately, England are winning tournaments and getting to finals because they are absolutely stacked with top class talent and that hasn't happened by accident.

Sorry but this Epstein shit is so bleak. At the end of the day hundreds of girls were trafficked, raped, and abused by powerful men. Their abuser was turned into a meme, and their pleas for justice became totally obscured by cynical actors looking to make a brand for themselves.

Charged, named and shamed. Believe women, believe victims, believe those brave enough to come out and share their stories.

Serious questions need to be asked of the club who were ready to extend his contact despite knowledge of what was happening.

Quite enjoying how Arsenal have pivoted from Neto to Kepa for back up goalkeeper. Nominative determinism clearly important for the role.

Garnacho and Nkunku swap deal is actually a deal that suits both clubs. Chelsea get to advance their goal of having every young player in world football without any plan for how to use them. And united get to execute on their plan to own as much overpriced trash as possible.
