I can’t believe the general public is still watching, buying into, and involved in any professional sports at all. They are all corrupt and despicable. Like sports? Then play them but do not engage with professional sports of any kind. It’s sick.

While many Sci-Fi shows use US Navy ranks, we almost never see lower enlisted (or sometimes enlisted at all).
I think it's a huge missed opportunity to have Starman as a rank, replacing Seaman.

Why are all the VW auto parts stores in the SoCal region only open 9-5, M-F?
I have to work those days, any work I'm doing on my car is happening on a Saturday or Sunday, so even minimal hours one of those days would be super helpful.

This is how companies get around consent. They add a feature, and turn it on by default. You've consented, because buried somewhere in the terms and conditions you agree to let them do this if you use the app. They add a new feature, and bam. All your data are belong to them.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

Toxic Masculinity is just sideways misogyny. It's a throwback to gender roles, and they're only implying the women's roles by what's not included in being a "real man" because they know if they tried to be explicit it would be instantly called out.

Update! Amazon is now including the product name and release date in pre-order e-mails, and I've updated my Apps Script. So now, both Kobo and Amazon pre-orders will automatically get added to my calendar.
Sadly, after doing a bunch of research... I don't think this will ever work for Am*zon. Their e-mails don't mention the product or release date, and I can't find an API that'll give me access to that information either.
