I make a podcast about art and pop culture coldcrit.art
Thanks to this article I realized someone in my (totally voluntary, extracurricular) creative writing class relied heavily on AI the entire course. It was so obvious and I feel duped. I complimented that asshole on her prose.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

Small Soldiers holds up super well. You got anti-colonial messaging, David Cross, and it’s rated PG-13 because despite looking like a kid’s movie it’s not for babies

My father in law is a Holocaust survivor and has been writing about Israel's ongoing ethnic cleansing in Palestine for decades. His latest article was just published.

How Israel Used My Father's Name to Cover Up Ethnic Cleansing
The awful truth dawned on him: "This forest in my father's name was not planted in the desert but on the destroyed orchards of the previous inhabitants."

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

We go through this rigamarole every few weeks; what people are objecting to is not the behavior or rhetoric of individuals politicians, but the broader nationalization of politics and cultural/educational polarization, which nobody actually knows how to fix.
This is precisely the sickness right here: "The Democratic Party should make fan fiction podcasts say 'woman' again."

How? Why? Do right-wing podcasts ever say anything untoward that Republicans should address?

Everything goes back to the myth that Dems are responsible for petty aesthetic gripes
