They’re just as vital to the future of our communities as other small businesses like bakeries, cafes, restaurants and grocers.

Earlier this year, MassDOT won a $335M "reconnecting communities" grant to finance a massive realignment of I-90 in Allston.

Now it's pivoting to spend most of that money on a handful of modest "early action" projects:
