Good article on why Disney is well positioned to weather out widespread cancellations of its streaming services. However, it notes that a broader and more sustained boycott effort of all things Disney could make a difference.

I don't really see the difference between failing to properly secure a firearm in your home and failing to vaccinate your child. Although, come to think of it, parents who fail to secure a firearm in their home are only jeopardizing their own child's safety.

I don't really see the difference between failing to properly secure a firearm in your home and failing to vaccinate your child. Although, come to think of it, parents who fail to secure a firearm in their home are only jeopardizing their own child's safety.

I'm willing to bet that if someone records a decent-looking video on a shoestring budget claiming that USAID was sending $1.3M in tanning beds to Brodo Asogi, uploads it to youtube, and posts its link to X, it would go viral among Trumpies in less than 24 hours.

Yesterday the US Postal Service announced it would stop accepting and delivering packages from China. No explanation provided. Less than 24 hours later, this morning, USPS announced they were reversing the decision. Again, no explanation provided.

1930s: Tariffs against imported sugar decimated Cuba's economy. That propelled Castro regime to replace a US-friendly government. It was about 30 years later, after the Soviet Union filled the void with a trade partnership with Cuba, when the Cuban missile crisis put us on the brink of nuclear war.
