A3: I'll say solitude. I specifically sought out one of the quietest places on earth, deep in the Hoh Rainforest of Olympic NP. #ParkChat

A10 Carlsbad Caverns for me, too. I went there once as a child, then again with my kids, then again to do research while in college. My park history is intertwined with CCNP. #ParkChat

A10) Kentucky's Red River Gorge National Geological Area in the Daniel Boone NF hooked me as a kid. Though I don't live close anymore, it still holds up as a classic Appalachian outdoor paradise (and fwiw I didn't take this picture, but it's too good not to share) #parkchat

Colorado National Monument was another big one for me growing up. And I still remember the moment I first learned “don’t bust the crust!" Does anyone know what that refers to here in Canyon Country? 🤪 #ParkChat

Since our oldest is in school in W Canada this yr, we would love to go and take this train from Van to Banff to see the NP there! www.rockymountaineer.com/train-routes.... Will it happen? 😂😜

A9 #ParkChat I'm always looking at the little things, but something that is small and I wouldn't have seen otherwise had to be a moth program that was part of my #STEAMinthePark trip to New River Gorge in 2023. I never realized the immense diversity of moths. The first three are from New River.

A7: The sheer number of times visitors wandered into Agate Fossil Beds saying it was "the most remote park site they've ever been to".... #parkchat

A7 #ParkChat I picture a place that requires effort to get to, that doesn't necessarily have cell service. Off the beaten path, by a mile.

#parkchat A7 first thought is a mountain forest, no cell service or utilities for miles.
