Me (to decision maker at work): Here’s a detailed, unsolicited, 20-page project proposal. Also it’s write protected.

Decision Maker: Can you resend not write protected?

Me:🧐

My boss (out of nowhere): Hey, those 1:1s we used to have that I let drop off the calendar? Let’s start those again.

Everyone has a #BucketList of cool stuff they’ve done!

Seeing the aurora borealis (or australis) is def a bucket list item for many people, but not something everyone gets to see.

Shout out something that was on your bucket list that you've done. Here's one of mine:

I've seen the space shuttle launch.

Let’s thank our rangers today at Carlsbad Caverns National Park. When you go, make an effort to stay for an evening bat flight. There’s nothing like it really. We at #ParkChat hope that all National Park Service employees are being paid by the time we reconvene next week.

This AI slop shows the blue field on the flag with jagged lines against the red and white stripes. Show some respect to the Stars and Stripes!

Thank goodness our veterans didn’t take the lazy way out.
Extending all of my gratitude & appreciation today & everyday to each Veteran that has served and to the families that sacrificed for their service.

May we never forget

I used my day off yesterday to schedule my latest novel into a series of post which will go live starting in January (and run through February 2028).

It took longer than I planned, but this was on my goal list for 2025. I’ve hit a lot of my personal goals this year. Little mental trophy for me.

Getting to see the Northern Lights is a bucket-list opportunity. I took several photos tonight, and on my earlier walk, and was reminded that today was a good day in my backyard and not at my desk.

As an author, there are times when I fast forward and don’t account for every minute of my FMC’s 11 months in the past, so I suppose I make time fly.

I didn’t get the joke hubs made this afternoon bc I reminded him I’d never actually seen Braveheart, just a few select scenes. I remind him of that fact every time he brings up Braveheart.

So, guess what we wasted our entire Sunday pm doing the day before he leaves on a biz trip. Go on. Guess.
