Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

This is coming from someone who is agnostic, but I really liked Pope Francis. He embodied everything a pope should be. Kind, loving, and compassionate. Rest in peace.

The pope was a strong advocate for the poor and the environment and a towering figure on the world stage, addressing not just Catholics but the men and women of our time.

Has Lex Fridman ever expressed an opinion that wasn't him just sucking Elon Musk off or shitting on the Ukrainians? He's such a weasel.
Lapdog interviewer has a thought.

Chaya Raichik is such a disgusting human being. I don't understand how anyone can look at what she says and not find her utterly repulsive.
A trans woman on tiktok posted about getting her gender marker changed on her Florida drivers license. Florida investigated her over it, canceled her license, and then leaked the story to libs of tiktok to announce it publicly to humiliate her.

"I should be allowed to kill the people who annoy me" is the most foundational belief in the reactionary American mind. There are a LOT of right-wingers celebrating Mangione and Penny because they hate healthcare bills and homeless people. You're not gonna build M4A out of that, sorry.
The elite handwringing over the folk heroization of Luigi Mangione is especially hollow given their own heroization of Daniel Penny
Getting the full Rittenhouse.

there is a terrible, bitter irony in how the Vaccination Assistance Act of 1962—a lesser-discussed achievement of JFK that made funding available to guarantee all children could get vaccinated for polio, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and other diseases—is now likely to be undone by his nephew.

Seems like Assad finally met his end in Syria. Assad was a violent and brutal dictator, and I'm glad that Syrians no longer have to suffer under his rule. I have no clue what's going to happen from here on out in Syria. But I hope that Syria's future is a bright one.

Joe Manchin will forever be the senator who condemned millions of children into poverty. But if it's any consolation to him, he'll also get to be remembered as the democrat who potentially blew a republican senators back out. Manchin is truly the senator of all time lol.
Sen. Susan Collins on the Senate floor offering plenty of warm words for retiring Sen. Manchin and says this about his famous houseboat Almost Heaven:

“I’ve had some wonderful times on that boat, the details of which will remain forever sealed”

Exactly! I don’t understand why everyone is trying to actively frame Bernie as a bad guy for this. It’s not uncommon to criticize people like Elon by using their talking points against them.
So you're admitting that you read "Elon Musk is right" and got mad and didn't read the rest?

You didn't think that BERNIE SANDERS might NOT be directly praising Elon and is actually calling him out for hypocrisy?
December 2, 2024 at 9:38 AM
No. Bernie Sanders is (obviously) calling out Elon Musk for his bullshit, knowing full well Elon will never follow through on it. Taking republican talking points and framing it in a way that promotes progressive goals is, if anything, the smart thing to do, no?
If you are beginning a social media post with "Elon Musk is right" as Musk is literally part of the incoming administration and randomly threatening to prosecute Americans for opposing Trump, then you would be better off saying nothing at all. Yes, I'm talking about Bernie Sanders.

It does sadden me that anti-war messaging has been used in a such a dishonest way by many "anti war" (I use that term loosely) advocates. I know it's nothing new, but I feel nothing short of disappointment when I see anti Ukrainian takes that might as well be Russian apologia.

Alas, the median American voter is going to be sorely disappointed when the guy they elected to "fix the economy" makes their lives infinitely worse by implementing a inflationary policy. Needless suffering because Donald Trump and his cronies are idiots.
If this actually happens, inflation will skyrocket.
November 26, 2024 at 3:09 AM
I wanted to express my thoughts on Joe Biden's legacy as the 46th president now that his term is coming to an end soon. This isn't intended to be anything except for my brief personal thoughts. I'm by no means an expert, so feel free to make your own assessments of the man.
