Very interested to see how Bill Belichick, who got regularly furious with the greatest quarterback of all time and a legendary field general in Tom Brady, interfaces with a 19 year old doing a bad Mahomes impression with 49 seconds left and one timeout

A few years ago, a tweet like this—not just pathetic for obvious reasons, but also lame and unfunny—would’ve been ratio’d into the earth. Now it has 22k likes because the other app artificially boosts and bots the worst opinions from the biggest losers.

Just a shame. That’s all.

The Premier League must have paid so much money to BlueSky cause no matter how many times I click “suggest less of this” it continues to show up on my timeline 😭

The Steelers pass rush is so damn deep. The way they're able to punish teams for doubling Watt with a litany of guys...just really hard to handle for any team, much less one with CIN's OL issues.

America's fucked up housing market is one of the biggest drivers of wealth inequality right now. Over the same time period that mortgages are skyrocketing, the poor are getting poorer while the rich get richer.

I wrote a whole article about it, here's the link: shorturl.at/WsS8E
The Sneaky Way the Government is Making You Poor
Poor Americans have lost 47% of their net worth since 2001, while the wealthy watched their income triple in the same time period. This kind of inequality is destroying our society. So what's making t...

Anyone who is surprised that the Bears players so openly blamed Eberflus for a lot of their losses this season didn’t watch Hard Knocks. It was pretty clear that nobody - especially Caleb Williams - responded to him. Was a terrible decision to even bring him back for this season

A thread on colourblindness & #gamedev -

If your approach to colourblindness is full screen filters, you're *doing it wrong*, and causing more problems that you're solving.

If you see a game that has filters, they're doing it wrong. If you see a game that has a 'strength' slider - don't copy it.

Man these two teams have had to play by an entirely different set of rules today

If you’re a Bears fan who was critical of Justin Fields, then I better hear the same criticisms of Caleb Williams cause I’m gonna be honest so far he’s looked like the same passer and a less dynamic runner
The number of bizarre misses on touch throws down the field has been the most concerning part of Caleb Williams' game for me this year.

The numbers are horrific. Per Next Gen, Williams has -29.7 EPA on deep throws this year. No other full-time starter is below -2.4 on the year. It's a problem.

Bears run game shows signs of potential and flashes of excellence but I don’t think they have time to develop the run game in this one. You’re gonna get too far behind. Gotta open it up downfield

That touchdown just speaks to the football creativity/savvy of not only Dan Campbell but also Brad Holmes. Multiple open players, just let Goff throw to who he’s most comfortable with. Don’t depend on him to rip a tight throw even if that’s the design.

Jonathan Owens is so good. I’m glad that Hard Knocks this off-season actually shed some light on how good he is

Third down throw felt a little desperate for Caleb. This lions defense is disciplined enough to execute hits on the hospital balls.

Bears playing a really good mix of man and zone on the opening drive. Making it hard for Goff to decide where his best option is.

3rd and 2 operating out of shotgun is such a strange call to me for this team. It worked, but didn’t seem like they were playing to their strength there
November 28, 2024 at 5:44 PM
Plays like that one where you ask the tackle to take an end-around and then throw the ball are exactly why I don’t have faith in Detroit in the postseason yet. You’re doing too much and it comes down to arrogance. That kind of thing comes back to bite you in the postseason
