So you just agreed with the main point of my response. Allen is not the best quarterback in the league. You can make the argument that he’s the second best and I think it’s pretty close but there is a valid argument that he isn’t.

He’s doing what they’re asking him to do (not turn the ball over) but he just isn’t doing anything extraordinary. Averaging less yards/game, less attempts, and the same average yards/attempt than past years. Only difference has been the turnovers. Truth is this offense depends less on him than ever

Can’t root for him against my Steelers and certainly hope we won’t have to run into him! But always a guy I love seeing succeed

Like I said in a different response, my opinion is not to slight Josh Allen. He’s easily a top 3 QB and I think there’s just as easily an argument that he IS the second best. But right now he is still the Payton Manning to Mahomes’s Tom Brady

I would LOVE to have Josh Allen as a quarterback. He’s a fantastic player and a phenomenal person. My reply was not a slight at him but anyone who thinks he’s better than Patrick Mahomes right now is just biased. Simply put.

Simply put his team is not winning BECAUSE of him right now. He doesn’t have a top 10 stat in any QB stat so far this season INCLUDING passing attempts. This offense is not carried by Josh Allen. Look at the things Joe Burrow is doing this season. He’s playing significantly better than Allen

How many times has he beat Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs? He has had a top 4 defense each of the last 4 years and plenty of weapons around him along with great coaching. He’s never won an MVP, never been to a Super Bowl, and he has more turnovers than anyone else in the league since playing in it
