I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

I've had a lots of tips about a bill in Texas that would ban gender affirming care for everyone, including adults.
I have not reported on it, because it only has a single sponsor, and its likelihood of passing is low. Given the saturated news environment, it's not yet a major threat.

Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.
