I could easily be a registered Democrat but, I stay Independent because of games the DNC plays. Transparency in government matters. Transparency in the party matters even more. Is it time again for new leadership?

Man, those words hit hard this morning. How do we ever return to normal, or do we ever want to? Wouldn't it be amazing if after all of this somehow we relearned kindness and compassion? I know, I know...it's a dream.
Remember when we were not losing jobs in droves, or at odds with all our allies, or attacking other nations for their resources, or deploying masked thugs to terrorize our citizens, or pardoning drug traffickers and violent criminals in exchange for bribes?

Before Columbine there was Westside. I covered the story and for me, this should have been the last. It wasn't. How many more have to die? It's been 27 years. Those dead middle school kids should have been parents and grandparents by now.

This used to be my playground. I came along later and watched the renovation of that studio. It became the engineers lair. When the nicotine stained carpet came off the walls, underneath was history. The old KAAY staff had signed the walls. Yes, it smelled awful, but so did the mics.
