It is written:

"You can't con people, at least not for long. You can create excitement, you can do wonderful promotion and get all kinds of press, and you can throw in a little hyperbole. But if you don't deliver the goods, people will eventually catch on.

- Donald Trump, Art of the Deal
May I add: if you're a lawmaker in the minority, and you tell me you've "introduced a bill to <insert what people are outraged about>" as an answer, you're gaslighting your constituents. It's NOT getting a vote. Stop it.
Is any senator, member of Congress, or really anyone in a position of any actual power or authority, going to step up and express outrage with an actual plan to DO SOMETHING?

These dipshit social media posts being like “Things are bad and illegal! 🥴” are about to make my head explode

This is an excellent idea!
In actuality, it belonged to NO musical provocateur Davis Rogan and was one of his campaign promises when he briefly sought elective office: Name the New Orleans franchise the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and refuse to relinquish until the Utah team gives back Jazz.

10 years ago, I'd bet if I asked people what the definition of America was, a high percentage would use words like diversity, equity and inclusion.

Why aren't reporters clamoring for a Musk press conference, given he's the one making the decisions?

FYI: our U.S. House of Representatives has adjourned until Tuesday because there's not much going on.

I'm listening to Washington Journal this morning about the midair crash, and I'm wondering if people realize right-wing think tanks are responsible for elevating "DEI" as the new boogeyman? Remember the "CRT" boogeyman during the last election cycle?

Chuck Grassley is a fucking embarrassment to the United States. That's all.

I’m guessing they won’t find that Trump’s reckless and impulsive air safety cuts were directly responsible, but it is a reminder that not everything is a game, a show for Fox News approval.

A fucking punk weekend warrior like Pete Hegseth denigrating an Honorable man like Mark Milley makes my fucking blood boil.

Lest we forget Bobby Jr. was a "Democrat" his entire life until 2024. He's an opportunist. Period.

Everyone can take a break from the hearing as Senator Grassley struggles to read a statement with a mouth full of marbles.
January 29, 2025 at 3:41 PM
I'd pay money to see a split-screen of Larry David's facial expressions during this hearing.
January 29, 2025 at 3:31 PM
I know this won't be brought up, but I'd love to hear Bobby Jr. try to defend this super-crazy stuff during the pandemic.
I wonder how many people remember or even know RFK Jr. was highly involved in the People's Convoy and America's Grand Jury?
January 29, 2025 at 3:22 PM
I'm pretty sure Cheryl Hines is feverishly blinking "SOS" in Morse code over Bobby's right shoulder.
January 29, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Of course a Senator with the name "Crapo" is leading the confirmation shit-show for RFK Jr.

Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

Weird. Chuck Grassley is speaking on the Senate floor right now and hasn't mentioned the purge.
One way to look at this: A bunch of Republican senators made it VERY clear that they didn’t want Trump to purge Inspectors General. Chuck Grassley urged him not to. By firing them anyway, Trump is testing whether he’ll face ANY real pushback from Senate GOP. www.ernst.senate.gov/news/press-r...
