A candid shot of our panto choreographer in rehearsal today - the enigmatic, exacting, and inscrutable Autumn. Ooh she knows what she wants and she’ll drill us until we get it right! I’m exhausted!

Give Rosalind Franklin a tenth of the advantages he had and she’d be recognized as the “discoverer” of DNA. As it was, he and his colleagues had to use her (stolen!) notes to get there.
James Watson died yesterday. He was a bad man with many bad ideas. We owe a debt of gratitude to the unknown hero who uploaded this picture of him to Wikipedia.

Is it just me or is Down Cemetery Road *whispers* a bit daft? The story seems contrived, the lighting in some scenes look weirdly fake, and a few actors are doing big comedy gurning whilst others are doing micro expressions. Had high hopes for a Slow Horses replacement fix but this ain’t it so far…

Nearly got a theatre acting job after a fab audition and good chats with the creative team, and have been feeling slightly disgruntled about it for months... but saw who did get it yesterday in an ad for the show and am finally able to let it go. Can't compete with telly peeps - it is what it is 🤷‍♂️

Ooh this looks fascinating!
A neat tool I just came across: Viabundus, a digital road map of northern Europe 1350-1650, that lets you calculate contemporary travel routes/times. In 1500, going Amiens → Köln by horse took almost 7 days and 13 toll payments.
