I empathize with the managers who wanted to boot Robbie Williams off the label way back when. Sure, it seems REALLY dumb now, but just imagine how difficult it is to judge a song on how it will sound when 20.000 drunk football fans or 100.000 horny women scream it.

Video sharpness is such a sham. Much of what I enjoy from when I was younger was originally made to be broadcast on potatoes. It looks like absolute ass when you try to polish it up to 4k.

Being hit weird enough is key! Nothing rejigs the brain from "this shouldn't be happening to me" to the waaay more useful "I shouldn't be treated differently from others" than becoming a Kafka corner case.
I wish there was a way to meaningfully reach folks who--alright, let's try and put it generously, only learn from experience. Because currently cap-fash is being cheered on by a lot of people who apparently haven't been hit hard or weird enough to change.
