150% TARIFFS ON ALL MEETINGS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AN EMAIL

Catching a glimpse of my sister in law run the marathon last year was so exciting. Being in the crowd and talking to the strangers around us was like being back in london during the olympics. Remember that joy and pride? Oh it was glorious

Storming a Quaker Meeting House with weapons drawn is something that is so abhorrent and unacceptable that I am still struggling to comprehend it tbh.
🚨 Outrage as 20 police officers break into Westminster Quaker Meeting House and arrest six. 🚨
This shocking violation of a place of worship is a direct result of crackdowns on protest and dissent - freedom of speech, assembly and democracy are at risk.🕊️

“There is this terrible misconception that disabled people just take, but actually by taking from us, you prevent us from being able to give – we want to be able to participate in life equally the same as anyone else, and that includes going to work.” Disability campaigner Tanni Gray-Thompson

This is a seminal moment: a Labour government cutting disability benefits. Not just continuing Tory levels. Cutting.

This comes after a week of speculation, itself an act of cruelty by a government toying with people’s dignity.

These cuts are disgraceful - and they will cost lives.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Having not read the sentencing remarks, I’m cautious about rushing to conclusions, but on its face Feathers McGraw appears to be a prime example of the rampant sentence inflation that has led to chronic overcrowding in our zoos and the unedifying spectacle of animals being released early.
Curious to know whether
@barristersecret.bsky.social thinks 30 years behind bars for robbery and attempted murder was a fair sentence for Feathers McGraw? It seems a bit steep #WallaceAndGromit

With so many folks posting about THE MUPPETS CHRISTMAS CAROL tonight, it might blow your minds a bit to know that every single costume in the film (human & Muppet alike) was designed by Polly Smith, co-inventor of the sports bra.

Merry Christmas!
