It looks as though the White House, the seat of power in the US, has suffered a traumatic amputation.

This is one of the (many) reasons I'm living vicariously through the NYC mayoral elections as someone who lives in Missouri.
Missouri is the only state in the nation to tax income, but not capital gains.
