The Black Panther quilts are always a crowd pleaser. I’m honestly amazed that Marvel didn’t make more tapestries for other properties. The demand is there.

Practice makes progress. This demon slayer quilted wallhanging was one of our earlier works, and I still love it. We have learned a few new tricks since. I’m excited to see how we look back a year from now.

Many years ago I invested in a proper hooded dryer. It hurt at the time, but this thing runs like a tank and has always done right by me.

Big same. I am amazed at the people who constantly go viral. While you get a lot of love, all the random negativity looked stressful. I had a handful of posts that did decent and the response was enough for me to stop posting.
One thing about Bluesky is that I feel a lot safer posting here than I do on X. Once they got rid of circles I got so used to seeing racist hatred in replies to anything I posted there that I for the most part stopped. It was involuntary in some ways. I just couldn’t deal with the avalanche of hate

I have come to terms with never watching all of one piece but I get the hype. We also used sparkly gold thread for the coins in this quilt. So the coins shimmer.
