The Black Panther quilts are always a crowd pleaser. I’m honestly amazed that Marvel didn’t make more tapestries for other properties. The demand is there.

Practice makes progress. This demon slayer quilted wallhanging was one of our earlier works, and I still love it. We have learned a few new tricks since. I’m excited to see how we look back a year from now.

Sometimes I look at my cat and think how lucky I am to have him. Then other days I look at this demon and think “have you considered not doing the most for 5 minutes?! You might like it.”

I have come to terms with never watching all of one piece but I get the hype. We also used sparkly gold thread for the coins in this quilt. So the coins shimmer.

Quilting can be hella expensive so if you are interested start with stuff you already got or thrift. This Disney quilt is made from curtains from 20+ years ago. We have another set in this photo to show the before and after. You are only limited by your creativity.

Now this is Ruby! This was our first time doing capstones in the corners. This quilt ended up giving us a lot of trouble due to the added borders but it was worth it. #addtoblacksky

This Henry Box Brown quilt really opened a lot of doors for us. We did some trapunto on the box so he looks more sunk in. It’s difficult to capture how alive he looks in person. It’s like he is moments from climbing out.
