So, NHS compensation money was used to help buy the Angela Rayner flat. She SOLD her share in her ex council house that she owned to the Trust set up for her son 2 in 2023. This Trust received her son’s NHS compensation money. The house was also over valued at £650k when others are worth £550k 🧐

Look at the HMRC .gov.uk website. it is not complicated, if your kid is under 18 and there is a trust it counts as your home not theirs for stamp duty purposes. They explain it in two sentences Si
