Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2 represents a technical milestone for the system - hardware RT (even in handheld mode), DLSS and intelligent, often unnoticeable cutbacks vs Series S. A remarkable release! Check out today's video: youtu.be/XlKCBGzrB1I

The real star of the Coen Brothers The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) is the gorgeous black and white Roger Deakins cinematography. Billy Bob Thornton gives a fittingly reserved performance for a noir where everyone goes "this guy? At the center of a noir plot? Nah he's just a barber." It's a tonally

So Square Enix just shadow dropped Triangle Strategy for the rest of the platforms it was missing from!

Hell yes this is a win and this is also a badass game! If you haven’t played go play! @square-enix-games.com

Been awhile, so new #promosky post.

I'm CyNet, and I'm a fan of the cyberpunk genre since I discovered Ghost in the Shell as a teen. Story heavy singleplayer games are what I live for.

I also stream on Twitch, link's in the bio. Due to char limits, here's an image of my gaming interests:

I enjoy real time combat or FPS action.

But there's a different type of adrenaline rush when it comes to turn based RPGs. Imagine...

Your party is low, some even knocked out. A boss lies before you looking formidable. You analyze the field, pondering your next move...

Chills, literal chills.

Resident Evil 2 Remake - Collectors Edition ✧

I own a couple of the RE collectors and I've never properly shown them. To start the week I'll be showing them all, first up with RE2R 😊

Finished the Prologue of Expedition 33, and just barely started Act 1.

I have avoided all spoilers, and have no idea what's in store. So here are some quick thoughts so far:

-The Expeditioners remind me of the Survey Corps from Attack on Titan.

-I see the Gommage as a metaphor for climate change

A few minor criticisms I have of Expedition 33 nearly 5 hours in:

-I wish we could open a map to see the layout of a dungeon. I do NOT want a minimap. Just a button to see the layout of a map in case I missed a spot in an area.

-The ability to fast travel from ANY flag to ANY other flag.

The Outer Worlds has been very awesome so far!

I'd describe it as Fallout, but plentiful. Fallout nails the feeling of scarcity, and I love that; but the Outer Worlds feels like it is dishing me out stuff left and right. 🔥

Plus, the vibe is hilarious. It's a ton of fun so far. 🤌

I have solved the murder and finally beat Disco Elysium for the first time. The less I say about this game, the better. Absolute Masterpiece that will live rent free in my head for quite awhile.

I read Jason Schreier's new article on Dragon Age Veilguard. This part captures what I've suspected.

It's a wonder Veilguard released at all. Forcing live service multiplayer, and changing the story's tone really doomed the game years before it even released. 😔

Going to come clean about Expedition 33.

I found it derivative beyond the parrying mechanic. It has a good story, but if you've ever played a JRPG, it will not surprise you. Its somber tone and realistic graphics are what set it apart.

Glad it sold well though.

NEW: What went wrong with Dragon Age: The Veilguard? Why was the writing so tonally inconsistent? Why did it feel so shallow? Why were there so few choices?

Really, after ten years of turbulence, it was a miracle that anything came out at all. This is the story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Fun fact: when I first reported at Kotaku in 2018 that Dragon Age 4 was rebooted to become a live-service game, BioWare studio head Casey Hudson wrote this on Twitter. But it was not entirely truthful. In reality, the game was being designed around cooperative multiplayer, replayable missions, etc

The fatal flaw for Dragon Age: The Veilguard wasn't just that it pivoted from single-player to multiplayer and back again. It was that after the second pivot, the team was forced to keep going rather than hit the reset button and take the time to create a new plan. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
