This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

What we are witnessing is an outright abuse of power.

This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out. Media corporations — from television networks to newspapers — are capitulating to these threats.

Walz: This is North Korea style stuff. And it's being done because this is a weak, thin skinned man who's failing as a president. All of the things he promised are not happening.

It's a it's our most cherished freedom to point out very clearly, this is a terrible president

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.
Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel

Look at this graph.

The share of national income going to the richest 10 percent was lowest (and share to lower 90 percent highest) when union membership was at its highest. As unions have weakened, inequality has widened.

This is why we must build back union power.

Netflix just gave Gavin Newsom 2 million for the redistricting fight and made a deal with Sesame Street. New episodes will air there and the backlog of old episodes will Be free to watch.

Netflix picked a side. I will keep my subscription.

Excluding don't knows, 62.2% of voters would support rejoining the EU, against 37.8% who would oppose it. That is a crushing majority.

Please repost if you agree that the government must respect the democratic will of the majority and permit a referendum on rejoining the EU.

Isn’t there a recurring stench of something unseen behind the scenes going on in Tassie?
Did the “Integrity Commission” forget why having transparency of lobbyist activity might be one, just one, little integrity improvement to our parlous state? Sheeesh! #politas #auspol #integrity
Tasmanians were weeks away from seeing how lobbyists operate — but not anymore
The activities of Tasmania's 70 registered lobbyists, who act on behalf of paying clients to get results from the government, were to be made public from July 1, but that's no longer going to happen.

Everything about the stadium is disastrous.
It is totally unnecessary, will barely be used, will bankrupt the state and ruin heritage sites - it must be ditched.
Tell the AFL to go fuck themselves. No other state had to do what they’re insisting TAS do.
