We just found out this existed, but I know several SF stories about civilizations on planets like this e.g. Michael Coney's Hello Summer, Goodbye. If this isn't exactly that, people will write more SF with planets just like this, because "What would it be like to live there?" is the first question.

We just found out this existed, but I know several SF stories about civilizations on planets like this e.g. Michael Coney's Hello Summer, Goodbye. If this isn't exactly that, people will write more SF with planets just like this, because "What would it be like to live there?" is the first question.
