All the farmers around me with Trump flags up are going to be in for a rude awakening when tariffs kill grain prices and the Dept of AG is cut down to the quick. I'm sure they all think there will be another round of trump checks. I think they're wrong.

the DOGE agency will not have the authority to reallocate funds (nor would that be constitutional), it is a PR tool to create the impression that government spending is inherently wasteful and build political momentum for spending cuts
Hypothetical. I'm curious what people think. If the DOGE agency worked on the premise that half of all savings in a federal program were distributed as increased benefits to qualified recipients, would you consider the details ?

democratic party defenders say they dont have media platforms, and the msm is trash. both things are true. but nothing prevents party members from making statements, recording videos and distributing them, making some kind of noise -- except an institutional decision to just sit on their asses.
