I would love to see a citybike service in STL. I think the e-bike option in particular bridge the gap for a lot of people who are curious about riding but won't dive in for their usual routes. My first ride in the city was a Lime bike years ago.
St. Louis needs a bikeshare comeback. 🚲📉📈

We’re launching a new Bikeshare Working Group to advocate for a system that actually connects our neighborhoods and transit.

Great journalism. Diego gives real answers to Tim's poignant questions. I'm somewhat sad that we're moving on so quickly but the vision of everyone seems sound.

There is a shirtless man in a cards hat directing traffic with a whistle in the middle of the Manchester/Kingshighway intersection since the light is out. He's doing a great job, honestly

guys, car sprawl in climate disaster zones -- it is not gonna work out. i wish there were something i could say or do to soften the blow, truly.

your car was never worth this level of misery and destruction, but i think most people will only come to understand this through misery and destruction.

Let's cap I-44 downtown, shrink the disasterous intersection in Layfayette square, and turn 44 running southwest into a boulevard while we're at it. It'd be a fraction of the cost of the state's I-70 expansion for dramatically more effect.

No new drive-thrus. If the Home Depot parking lot could be shared it would actually be a great location for office space, but what do I know.
Jimmy John’s & Papa Johns franchisee Avi Khemlani is proposing a drive-thru restaurant at the site of 3224 S. Kingshighway (fronting Home Depot) 😒

The 4200 Arco lot behind the Gramophone is listed on Restoration St Louis's current projects list as future 95-unit apartments with "bluetooth exhaust fans." They've been paying $800 a year in taxes every year to sit on this perfectly placed 11-plot lot... Perfect case for creating a land value tax.

WATCH: @katmabu.bsky.social blows Jennings’ mind by saying “everyone deserves health care”

Reminder: this is how it is in every other developed nation, where the cruelty of the Republican Party has not killed universal health care on behalf of the insurance companies. #MedicareForAll

This is a pathetic number from an organization using our city as their brand
$50K from the Cardinals is pathetic. They pay Arenado $87K per day.

Sanctuaria in The Grove was just hit by a car.

There are no design improvements to prevent such traffic violence near this intersection in MoDOT’s Route 100 improvement plans.

I’ve toured the metro security and met with the fare gates team to understand these decisions. I can tell you from meetings I had, the security team does not care about your complaints with the gates.

I feel like we've entered the era where all posters/graphics/etc should have an artist's name on it to both give credit and create a paper trail that the work isn't AI. Are there reasons why that's a bad idea?

Something to keep in mind if you're undecided on the Comptroller's race. Challenger Barringer voted for state takeover of our police department in 2023 (before she was term-limited out of Jefferson City). Thanks but no thanks. That's disqualifying imo.
Completely unhinged the State of Mo is taking control of SLMPD. There’s a good chance we’ll see rising crime like KC, which is under state control, before long.
