Shedding Season
A snowy parking lot at night, with banks of snow to the left and right of a parking spot that bumps up again a short chainlink fence and the black void of night beyond it. there are snowflakes in motion, as if caught in motion. caught in the beam of light, maybe from a flashlight, maybe headlights of some lonely car pulling in to park, is a enormous animal of some kind. It is flayed, its senseless musculature on display amid hanging rags of pale flesh. it is like a giant hound made from scraps of meat, its head is featureless and appears to be formed of many worm like appendages. nerves or tendrils wave in the air, emerging from its long neck and head. its intestines hang loose. there's a crushed coke can on the ground.
