I strongly suspect Twitter is throttling posts mentioning the word “BlueSky”. I recommend fooling the algorithm by avoiding that name & using a euphemism (“the 🟦 Place,” whatever).

I said BlueSky and got 0 response too. Switched it up, people have taken me up on it every time.

For a lot of us, losing Twitter isn’t really about losing ties to the company itself. It’s losing 10+ years of real, asynchronous communities, professional development, the ability to get gigs and clients, the ability to promo/share your art on an extremely broad scale. The loss of that has impact.

I am v haunted by the news that bsky’s contract with a company means that company can use any images as training sets. I know this is a concern for artists but we should all be concerned particularly about things like selfies & lewds.
