Yesterday, I filed two federal lawsuits against a man in New Jersey. He writes patently false things about me and other librarians. These falsehoods are very dangerous. They make me feel unsafe. They make a lot of librarians feel unsafe.

For the librarians. #Invictus

Until abortion is legal in every state, lets require men to get a mandatory vasectomy until they are proven emotionally mature, financially responsible and ready to be a father.
Wait, what do you mean regulations on men's bodies make you uncomfortable?

Anyone, any entity, anywhere in the world can just pay him any amount (for anything he promises in return), and there's no disclosure of the payments, no oversight of any of it by anyone, and of course no potential bribery prosecution (of him) because... immune.

I just finished reading this wonderful book by @carabeancomics.bsky.social
Will be recommending it at my library and to teachers and students at the public school where I work!

Thank you, Cara for creating this - I wish it had been around when I was young! It would have helped and comforted me. 💙

On International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, I'm reminded of Lisa Sullivan's incredible documentary "The S Word." It tells the story of suicide attempt and loss survivors without glorification, voyeurism, or saviorism. Take a minute to watch the trailer. #SurvivorsDay
