Big day for density and housing here in St. John’s. We approved the development of a new ten storey apartment building at 34 New Cove Rd, which is great news. It will be one of the tallest buildings in the city. I never thought we would get here but here we are!

my friend's mom has terminal cancer and they could really use some help with the bills, just boosting again. having cancer ain't cheap, which feels like an extra kick in the teeth on top of getting cancer to begin with
Just boosting this for my mom, who is an artist with Stage 4 colon cancer. I know it's a lot out there - out here - in America. Times are rough, but hearts are kind, and I am grateful for the many fierce and generous people I know. ❤️ www.gofundme.com/f/help-our-m...

Commission your friends for art. Give them dollars (this makes them happy) in exchange for drawing you like (this makes you happy). This is symbiosis. This is a healthy ecosystem.

Support your friends. Support art. Support your friends' art.

Gee i wonder why

Such a mystery why landlords don't maintain buildings, are jacking up rent, supply costs have skyrocketed & no one here has disposable income because we're all also being gouged by ontario landlords, paying more for groceries, & noone is getting paid more www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

At least a dozen businesses — half of them on Water Street — have closed or announced they soon will within the last six months. Industry experts are calling for swift action to revive the area.

Donald Trump stating that they need to "clean out" Gaza is a perfect example of how many national leaders view Palestinians as less than human.
THESE PEOPLE ARE HUMAN. They are indigenous to Palestine, and have connections to the land. We need to protect their right to Palestine.
