I knew that a large percentage of plastic wasn’t actually recycled but I was t expecting it to be this high. Need to find ways to reduce our plastic use bc we’re really just canceling out our own work with the separating and cleaning if it’s mostly going to the landfill anyway 🤷🏼♀️
Most plastics are not recyclable, largely because there is no market for materials labeled 3 through 7.

I lived down the street from the American Heritage Museum for about 13 years. Interesting look into the industry - never thought about how those artifacts were acquired before

We give these to our 8th grade civics students and they love them. I hope they always keep that excitement for that document that’s supposed to protect their natural rights & prevent them from government overreach 😊
