Nabil Shaban was far more than just a Doctor Who monster. As co-founder of Graeae, he was a brilliant ambassador for change in theatre. The stuff he was saying in the 1970s and 1980s about access to the arts still rings true today. Rest in peace, fella.

Watching season 18 lately. I choose to believe Wendy and Janet meant every word when they tease, and actually loathe each other. And poor Sarah Sutton has to sit there and keep muttering "she's not worth it, Fielding" "Not on camera, Padders"

I do firmly believe that if this episode had gone out with Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill as The Doctor and Yaz during 2022, the internet would be on FIRE right now from the deluge of people slagging it off.
It just felt so pedestrian and predictable. Nothing "special" worthy. Filler material. :(

OK, I'm 29 mins in to the DW story.
Slow to engage...then it got fitfully fun when CT was on screen...then came the most boring gun battle between 'two small armies firing constantly at each other in a relatively small space who still miss each other 99.7% of the time' I've ever seen.

Can I have a moment of appreciation for Sylvia please?
I feel she's always loved Donna, but didn't have the emotional tools to express it. This ep showed she's still learning -in expressing her love for Donna & Rose.
She's flawed but she's real. Ppl were way harsh to her back in the day #DoctorWho
