I will eat the uniform cover (hat) I saved from my last two deployments to Afghanistan if these Marines don't end up processing some Afghan on TPS status who helped U.S. forces. Marines haven't deployed there since Jackson, another other racist President, sent them to fight the 2nd Seminole War.

The 200 Marines being sent for "administration" are from MWSS-272. Their normal job is to set up expeditionary airfields and manage things like lights, power, equipment, and buildings in an environment exactly like Alligator Auschwitz.
