Here for the sanity lacking elsewhere. Union strong, supporter of public education everywhere, which I reckon makes me a socialist - not a bad word in Canada. 🚫 Fascists. Rare books.

No lists.

There will be so many Republicans giving creepy defences of Epstein and Trump over the next few months. Megyn Kelly decided she had to be first.
First of all, a 15-year-old is not "barely legal." The age of consent in Florida is 18. So sexual behavior with a 15-year-old is rape.

Megyn Kelly is VILE trash for saying otherwise.

And Megyn Kelly is confessing to having insider information about what Jeffrey Epstein was up to but stayed silent.

No courage. That is the one key thing that led to Trump/MAGA, and it continues now that the fascists are in power. No one in America has the courage required right now.

Nothing - not this latest stuff, no court cases, no injunctions, no protests - is ever “bad for Trump.” He is beyond poll numbers even. A dictator need not concern himself with legalities and/or popularity. He only needs his base, and they are largely still with him - in uniform and out.

Trump/MAGA just keep smearing their own shit all over every bit of America they are involved in — which, at this point, is everywhere.

This might turn into the biggest test yet of the Trump regime: will they obey the clear ruling? Will they appeal? Will they ignore? My money is on the latter two, because fascism.
wait but Speaker Johnson said there was no contingency fund? 🤷🏼

"We the people run this country"? How is this claim not risible on its face? If the last ten months have shown anything, it is that this statement is true only insofar as each administration honours and follows the norms set two centuries ago. With very little effort, Trump/MAGA have ruined it all.
Letter to the Editor:

It’s the People’s House, yet the people were caught completely off guard finding a pile of rubble where the East Wing once stood. This is truly symbolic to our country’s current state.
Letters: The demolition of the East Wing is an assault on the People’s House

Parents who refuse to vaccinate are sending one very clear message: They are complexly okay with OUR children getting measles.

These dangerous degenerates need to be called out publicly and shamed. Schools should not allow any unvaccinated children.

Imagine a real president. A moral, good (even if flawed — ahem, GWB) president. A little “signature” clumsy dance move might become an endearing quirk, something that humanizes the office a bit. But no. Just a fucking embarrassing moron, doing his moronic things.
