Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough.
Racist.
Asked whether Nigel Farage plans to sue the Guardian, given he denies making any of the racist and anti-semitic comments attributed to him, his spokesman replies "not at this stage".

The BBC Scotland commentary for Kenny McLean’s halfway line goal is glorious. Stuff of dreams. 🔥

Congratulations #Scotland, see you at the World Cup.

The general point to take from tonight is that both those matches were live on FTA throughout the UK, what a great TV deal this is

Looking forward to watching England and Scotland grinding out a borderline unwatchable 0-0 next June.

Well. That was fucking fantastic.

Checks out.
My whole friendship group was Labour at the last GE, albeit some reluctantly.
Pretty much all Green now. We'd all still vote for Sadiq, I think. But not Starmer. He's done here.
I've been out canvassing quite a lot in London lately. Labour's vote has absolutely evaporated.... it is quite extraordinary to go to places where Labour were on 50-60% of the vote at the last locals and find nobody, or virtually nobody, supporting them.

The phrase 'I voted Labour last time, but...

Is there a weird Dorian Grey thing going on with Scott Mctominay?
So, the real Scott Mctominay is playing for Burton Albion and this one is an imposter??

This is the reporter that Donald Trump called "Piggy." She is Catherine Lucey, currently with Bloomberg.

I don't think it is a coincidence that, back in 2018, Lucey was the first reporter to ask Trump about Stormy Daniels. Trump responded with a lie, but, clearly, did not forget the question.

There's nothing particularly new in here, I don't think.
But if we elect this man Prime Minister, we will be doing so in full knowledge of what he is, so shame on us.

If you don't like being associated with Tommy Robinson, maybe stop presenting policies that he likes??
Shabana Mahmood asks MPs to stop mentioning Tommy Robinson's name (in relation to his support for her policies) as "he doesn't even think I am English. I find that offensive."

If Labour had worked with a focus group at the start of its term to conceive a plan that would alienate its support and hand the UK to the far right at the next elections, it would be nearly indistinguishable from what it's actually done. Every day is the same routine: bullet in the foot, reload.

Good to see some rank and file Labour pushback.

Bizarrely, Labour interpreted their landslide to mean 'do what Sunak's govt was trying to do but better'.
It's a failure of morality but it's a failure of imagination too. They might have campaigned on a platform promising change but they simply couldn't conceive of what that change might look like.
Fascinating that the cause of collapse of both major parties has not just been basically identical (cost of living and service failings creating unpopularity, chasing radical right tail on immigration fuelling in-bloc schism), but that doubling down has persisted long after failure became clear.

Totally this.
It's insulting. It sees the white working class as an undifferentiated, uncultured, suspicious, incurious, territorial, ignorant, potentially violent singularity.
Fuck Blue Labour.
The irony of the Blue Labour rhetoric is actually how prejudicial it is about the white working class.
why do I emphasize the Manchester-ness of this? because Blue Labour 'thinkers' try to portray themselves as authentic representatives of a neglected Northern working class. But while there's plenty of racism in the North, as anywhere else, there's also a long history of integration and anti-racism.

Blimey.
Something's afoot here.
I suspect MTG either knows something specific coming down the tracks that, as yet we don't, or more generally has seen the writing on the wall. She's getting off the Trump train, quick smart.
BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.

With the MAGA lot, every accusation is *always* a confession.
A paedophile ring? Yep. Your lot.
'Trump Derangement Syndrome'? If you're willing to overlook that paedophile ring because it was your lot doing it, you are the only deranged ones in this conversation.
Combine this NYT write-up with podcaster Megyn Kelly's remarks earlier this week about paedophilia vs statutory rape.

I think it's safe to say that significant tracts of the American media have completely lost their mind along with any sense of morality and decency #Epstein
