Journalism, constructive moaning, weird music, telly, LUFC, all the usual shit.
Pathological levels of nostalgia. Deeply, deeply unhealthy.

Unimprovable response.

Whether or not this is true, dear god it's patronising.
Particularly given that nothing any mainstream British politician has come up with *this century* has 'added up' either. I'm not totally convinced by the Greens but look at the endless, compromised, self-perpetuating failure of the alternatives

Another entry for the bulging 'Shit Old Days' file.
Drink driving was *way* less taboo even 30 years ago than it is now. People I knew used to do it all the time. Not proper hammered but certainly well refreshed. I wince when I think about it.

It's crazy that the richest person in the world is also the most pathetic person in the world.

These people are such fucking babies.
Honestly Ant, you're a big, strapping lad - I reckon you can risk venturing out without a tool. I mean, I live in east London CRIME CENTRAL and I just made it to Sainsbury's and back without getting chibbed.

This is typically shoddy and sneaky from Question Time - and sadly, from the BBC in general. If you're calling Shaheen an activist, you should be calling Goodwin one too.

Racism pays.
I mean, that's literally all she's known for right? Being really racist.

Lovely stuff.
October 26, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Doesn't this encapsulate, in a nutshell, so much of what's wrong with the BBC's political coverage? This stuff isn't *meant* to be exciting. If you want excitement, take up paragliding or S&M or something. Don't blame us if your job/life is boring.

Absolute losers. Losing so unbelievably hard and totally failing to realise it.
October 23, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Fucking Chelsea.

A profoundly ridiculous man.
Seriously, who does he imagine he's talking to here?
Anyone who actually went to games in the 80s will recognise this for the madness it is.

I know it's tough to believe but this lad is a Young Republican.

Bloke who grew up in apartheid-era South Africa reckons UK childhoods were weird and dysfunctional.

Yeah, and we all know Simon Jenkins supported Brexit back in 2016.
Honestly, wind your neck in mate. You're always wrong, about everything.

Great. How about burning poppies? Or an Israel flag??
You cool with all that too Bob?
October 10, 2025 at 8:50 AM
Just the juxtaposition of the pictures and the headline made me roar with laughter.

Modern Conservatism is intensely joyless, proudly anti-intellectual, profoundly incurious, scornful of beauty and completely divorced from the richness of the human experience.
October 8, 2025 at 8:42 AM
Not to be mean about Taylor Swift who seems basically fine and who I don't have particularly strong feelings about either way.
But Taylor Swift fandom is *way* more interesting than Taylor Swift music.

On the occasion of Peanuts' 75th birthday, a reminder, from the first ever strip, that its capacity for summoning existential horror remains potent.

If my name was Philip Faircloth-Mutton, I'd probably have a grudge against the world too.
