it is wild to anyone who was a hard-core PC gamer in 1996 when we realize that NVIDIA is now one of the pillars the entire world economy rests upon.

There are, right now, more video games in existence, already made, than I could hope to play in a lifetime. If I have start digging into all of those then I will do so gladly until dipshit anti-creatives stop putting genAI in games.

"GenAI is the future and it becoming the norm in game development is inevitable, so get used to it."

If that becomes a reality, I will actually just quit buying games. I'm not contributing any money to that filth.

Sometimes I just feel disconnected from the average person who enjoys videogames. I was genuinely surprised at how beefy the Nightreign DLC was - I was not expecting an entirely new map, very distinct in flow from the original one.

It's being review-bombed to hell on Steam for having no content.

On this day in 2001, Animal Crossing for Nintendo GameCube released in Japan. I have many memories of this one. The series has definitely grown in popularity since then. Do you have any memories of this?

In the case of MTG and other recent defectors while there is some self interest and working going on, they are mainly just mad that they got worked by the pedophile. People get really mad when they find out they got worked. They yell about X-Pac heat and stuff.

When people who don't watch wrestling throw around terms like kayfabe and say politics is like wrestling they forget the most wrestling thing is when you work yourself into a shoot and get really mad about something.
Knowing the key to understanding right-wing politics in the US is understanding wrestling, they see government as kayfabe, I will ask my more wrestling-adjacent friends if this MTG/Trump break is a face turn by MTG (still a racist anti-semite, don't get me wrong) or a false break like Musk/Trump.
