Watched the new "Prep & Landing" special, which was a nice catch-up with these characters and had its amusing moments, although I preferred the first storyline with the seal over the second one on the island.

A lot of people celebrating "Toy Story" and its impact today and one thing I will never forget about seeing the movie on original release is the opening logo. Seeing the familiar Disney castle rendered like this blew me away.

Wait, did Marty McFly go back in time and cause "Back to the Future" to be made by Disney instead of Universal?

I've now seen 10 movies with Woody Harrelson in 2025, although four are "The Hunger Games", two are "Now You See Me" and two were released this year.

Can't believe in less than a week, Family Channel will be off the air. Even though I haven't regularly tuned in in ages and it's mostly sitcom reruns now, it's sad to see a channel I watched so much in my younger years go away.

Annie Hall is one of the all-time greatest comedic roles and that's largely thanks to Diane Keaton, who brought such a perfect delivery to her iconic lines. Also wonderful in Reds, the Godfather trilogy, Father of the Bride and so much else. What a legend.

I don't know why letterboxd doesn't have a picture up for Rod Daniel. The director of "Teen Wolf" and "Alley Cats Strike" doesn't deserve this disrespect.

Shockingly not the first owner of an unhealthy snack company who had aspirations of opening a theme park.

Reminder that a few years ago, a Disney movie had a villain who was a paranoid dictator who thought everyone should grovel at his feet, got angry at any criticism of his policies and tried to shut down anyone who opposed him.

Wow, the "Lilo & Stitch" remake is trying so hard to claw its way to beating "A Minecraft Movie" as the #1 domestic film of the year.

Though I think "Avatar: Fire and Ash" and "Wicked: For Good" will top both. Maybe "Zootopia 2" if it pulls an "Inside Out 2"

This is what it so often feels like to cross the road when the pedestrian light switches on.

"Oh, wow. Thanks for watching six of my movies this year. Yeah, that's really nice. I know four of those are because of Wes and one was just a cameo, but I still appreciate the support." - Owen Wilson, I assume.

I found a photo of the Microsoft executive who is forcing Windows 10 users to upgrade to Windows 11.

Of the six movies with Jack Quaid I've seen this year, three are 2025 releases. He's one busy nepo baby.

Pete Docter also said in an interview how much he loved "Across the Spider-Verse" and even said in that response that he doesn't view other studios and art styles as competition.

The director of "Elemental" even literally has a voice role in "Across the Spider-Verse"!

Grok, what can you tell me about Winston Churchill?

"Agh! Churchill! With his cigars and his brandy and his rotten paintings! Rotten! Hitler, there was a painter. He could paint an entire apartment in one afternoon. Two coats."

If you decided to watch "Lilo & Stitch" and "How to Train Your Dragon" before or after watching their recent blockbuster remakes, then you have also seen at least three Dean DeBlois and two Chris Sanders movies this year.

Even when I was younger, the teeth on Pixar characters tended to stand out to me and had a similar look to them. Look at the Bug's Life and Finding Nemo characters, for instance.

Funnily enough, Illumination also has an identifiable way of designing teeth.

The weirdest statement that always pops up in this discourse is that the studios are making these remakes to replace the original animated films.

Well, if that's the plan, why is this one of the banners currently on the Disney+ homepage and why is most of the merchandise I've seen of OG Stitch?

A strange oddity I found out: The animated film "The Twelve Tasks of Asterix" is on Netflix Canada, but only accessible by searching the movie on Google and JustWatch and only with French and Dutch language tracks/subtitles. Bizarre.

Finished my rewatch of the sequel trilogy and the Internet will never make me hate these characters.

I will be taking a long break from making top 10 acting performances lists to avoid getting burned out, but before I do that, next week, I will be doing a countdown of one of the actors shown here.

Happy 10 Year Anniversary to Brad Bird's "Tomorrowland", a movie that left an enormous impact on me with its call for a more optimistic future where doomerism is replaced with actual solutions and problem solving, all packaged in a delightful adventure.
