As a lifelong North Carolinian I have known that our judicial system was broken. However, this new @propublica.org has laid bare the utter corruption that has been wrought upon our citizens. This is a total shame and VERY important read.

The dude texted "I'm going to shoot protestors", then went and shot a Black Lives Matter protester. He was convicted in a jury trial.
