The administration says that criminal immigrants can be deported to a foreign forced labor prison without a hearing that could determine if the person is actually a criminal or actually an immigrant and that if it makes a mistake it can’t be rectified because the person is now outside their control.

I’m moving house soon and preparing to say goodbye to my studio. During the pandemic, I started converting my garage into a place to “go to work” that eventually turned into a nerd cave with a side of art space, paper and digital.

NEW: @aclu.org obtained ICE's "Alien Enemies Act Validation Guide," confirming all it takes to be sent to rot in prison in El Salvador is being Venezuelan and 1) having a tattoo an ICE officer says is a "gang tattoo" and 2) displaying "logos," "symbols" or clothes an ICE officer says are gang signs.
